Soul Destination

You plan for your future,

You plan for your schooling,

You plan for your marriage

You plan for your home,

You plan for your kids,

You plan for your car,

But isn’t it bizarre… that you don’t plan for your soul?

 

Maybe you don’t have a precise explanation?............

But just think - why have you thought more about your next long vacation?

Is it because you don’t want to think of such a vexation,

As the destination of your soul?

 

But you plan to go out!

You plan for a date!

Maybe you even plan to stay out quite late!

You’ve even planned to join a league and go bowl,

But why don’t you plan for your soul?

 

You plan to decorate,

You plan to participate,

You plan to celebrate,

But why don’t you plan for your soul?

 

You plan what’s for dinner,

You plan for your lunch,

But you don’t even have a hunch about your soul!

Shouldn’t it be your most important goal?!!!

 

We only have one soul,

Shouldn’t we make sure it goes to the right place?

Because it would be such a terrible disgrace,

If we ended up in the wrong place…….

When we could’ve been in the warmth and embrace of God’s everlasting arms.

His love and His grace can keep us from harm’s way.

He’s waiting to liberate us on that day….

On that day when we finally realize that He set us free by the debt His Son, Jesus Christ, paid.

I hope you take my advice,

Heaven will be nothing but paradise – better than a five-star destination.

The choice is up to you, what will you do on the day that your soul is required of you? What is your hesitation? Do you have a goal for your soul?

 

 

Or maybe you haven’t thought about it because you don’t believe

That there’s any destination whenever you leave this earth,

And that you just live your best life now and then you die, and that’s all there is.

But what if you’re wrong, and you’ve never even given it another thought?

What if all your thinking has been influenced by the lie you’ve bought?

I’m telling you - the evolution you’ve been taught is not true!

So, what will you do?

By the time you decide, it may be too late,

Aren’t you even concerned about your own fate?

 

Or maybe you believe in reincarnation,

Or you care more about the newest craze, sensation, or variation,

Perhaps you only think about living for today, and instant gratification?

Isn’t your soul worth some real investigation?

 

Wouldn’t it be better to think of these things now?  

What if all your previous thoughts have been wrong somehow?

If you wait too long, you may not have the chance to choose - you could die suddenly,

And then you’ll be sorry that you didn’t think about this all-important issue with more intensity.

May I give you some advice?

Because your soul has been purchased by the blood of Jesus Christ,

And He suffered great agony on your behalf for sure,

And because He thought you were worth dying for – all the more reason to call upon His name,

For He is the same, yesterday, today and forever,

He’s alive today because of His resurrection from the dead, 

And He offers eternal life to you too, so don’t put it off, don’t dread it,

There’s a choice you have to make about the direction 

Of your soul.

Why not take control 

While you still have the chance

To advance to the kingdom and the mansion

That God has prepared for your new body and your soul?

 

Your current body is the vessel that houses your soul.

That body will die, but your soul is a stroller, it needs a place to reside.

When it leaves your body, there are only two choices,

It either lives with God or it’s separated from God.

There still may be a chance for you to receive God’s salvation,

He’s given us a place called Heaven for our soul destination.

He wants it to be our sole destination, but will we turn to Him?

Or will we turn to something else because of our dim-witted ways?

Turning from God never pays!!!!

If you went fishing, you’d make sure you weren’t missing your pole.

Isn’t it time to make sure about the destination of your soul?

Think about it now! If someone was taking a poll…………………….

What would your answer be?  Where will you spend eternity?

Will it be hell? Hell is a real place of torment and suffering, with wailing and gnashing of teeth,

Wouldn’t you rather be in Heaven with The King of Kings, The Lord of Lords, and The Prince of Peace?

 

Maybe you’ve made out a will, but what will become of your soul?

It’s the most important possession you own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
