Do We Know Our ABC’S??

Acknowledging, repenting, forsaking and daily confessing our sins to Jesus Christ 

Abiding in Him and His Word, and feeding on its power 

Abundantly blessing those around us, as we see the needs 

All about Our Father’s business, always thinking, what would Jesus be doing? 

 

Abstaining from the world’s ways, consecrating our lives, and staying in prayer 

Admonishing others and encouraging them, to always keep the faith

Always looking for Our Savior’s return, and listening for His shout 

Allowing only His ways to purify our hearts, minds and thoughts

 

Affecting others by our godly deeds, serving Him and trusting His lead

Assuring that others see Jesus by the way we live, no matter what the cost

Anointed and prayed up so we’ll always be ready, when the trumpet sounds

Awaiting each day with anticipation of meeting Him, keeping our garments clean

 

Believing in and being thankful for the fact, that Jesus died for our sins and rose again

Being the cure by showing His mercy, grace and hope, to a lost and dying world

Being His hands and feet, salt and light, bringing peace and love to all

Being ready to give an account for the hope we have, and suffering for it if necessary

 

Being sorry for our sins and dying to self, asking Him how we can be of help

Being more concerned about others’ welfare and wealth, bringing them a little joy

Blessing all in our circle of influence, being good stewards to all our constituents

Bringing good news to those who have never heard, sharing His Word

 

Being good neighbors in our towns and cities, claiming them for Jesus

Being prayer warriors in our communities, realizing we’re in a spiritual battle

Blessing people by speaking The Word over each house or store as we walk or drive by

Bringing physical and spiritual food to those in need, showing we care, indeed

 

Communicating with others to make sure they know how to get saved through Jesus

Calling on His name for that purpose, and after that, content to be wherever He wants us

Consistently casting down evil imaginations, bringing them into His captivity to destroy

Constantly beware of spiritual attacks, to blood-bought winners on the narrow path

 

Continually keeping our minds upon Him, for He cares for us and offers rest

Centering our lives around His good news, clinging to His promises for our future

Communing with Him and seeking His face, celebrating Him and honoring His name

Continuously praising Him in hymns and spiritual songs, glorifying Him

 

Casting all our cares upon Him and continuously forgiving everyone that has wronged us

Captivating others by our unconditional love, even when they’re mean to us and angry

Crucially praying for our country and world leaders, that they would seek God’s ways

Continuously studying Bible prophecy to compare to world events, and keep looking up
