Peace In The Midst Of Pain

God loves you so much that He sings over you.


He loves you so much that He prays long and hard over you.


Whenever you are down or hurt, He feels your pain too,


Because He is totally in love with you.

 



The Prince of Peace has been down the road you trod,


He was not above it all, even though He is the Son of God.


He willingly suffered abuse, hatred and rejection.


His plan was to come to earth to crush the head of the serpent at 


the inception.

 



He’s been through every kind of pain that is known to man,


That’s why he can relate to every single thing the devil planned.


But even with everything that was thrown His way,


His blood bought our souls so only He can say:


“In the world you will have tribulation,


But be of good courage, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)

 

“The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he

 will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy 

over thee with singing.” (Zephaniah 3:17)

“14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”  (Hebrews 4:14-16)
