Tell The World What They Are Dying To Hear

Tell the world what they’re dying to hear,

That somebody loves them, that Jesus is near.

Pass the torch of His light and His love,

Help lift their heads, give them hope from above.

 

Show the world what they desperately need,

A touch from the Savior, in word and deed.

Pass the torch of this uncommon friend,

The one who will always be true to the end.

 

Tell the world what they’re dying to hear,

That somebody wants to remove all their fear,

That somebody loves them, more than they know,

That somebody cares if they stay or they go.

Tell them, the Father looks down from above.

 

The greatest gift that the world ever got,

Is the one most refuse, they say “No, thanks a lot,

I don’t need you or want you, your love has no appeal,

I don’t believe you, sorry that’s just how I feel.”

 

But tell them I will never forget them you see,

Cause they’ll always be such a part of Me,

I have them carved in My hands and My feet,

The nails made the scars…please make them understand…
