You Are Gods Beautiful Tapestry

You’re Our Heavenly Father’s beautiful tapestry,

His priceless work of art.

Yes, the Master’s hand has formed you,

You’re always in His heart.

He’s made you in His image,

You’re always on His mind,

He wants each heart and soul to know Him,

He is just so wonderful and kind,

And He wants everyone to know….

 

At a quick glance, it might seem as if your life has been all jumbled,

You may feel that nothing makes sense, perhaps you’ve even stumbled,

Maybe at one time you ran with the ball but then you fell and fumbled,

If nothing seems to be going right, if you’ve been feeling shocked, perhaps you’ve mumbled,

That’s okay because all things work together for good and all the pieces are being reassembled.

 

Life can seem like a tapestry of woes,

On the back side all the threads seem scrambled.

But on the front side beauty grows,

And when the weaver’s skillful hand is done,

The finished journey’s beauty will just stun,

With illuminating radiance of a brightly colored scene,

With times and places God was there and had to intervene,

But waiting all along, on the sidelines of your life,

He held you up in prayer, in times of fear and times of strife.

You may not have realized then, that the thorns would someday help you learn and grow,

They lift your head and make you stand so strong, as the tapestry now glows with gentle grace,

And you make Him proud as you seek His glorious face.

 

He’s reaching out His hand dear child to thee,

It’s a relationship with you He wants to see,

A talking back and forth, so He can confirm to you your worth,

Because you are God’s beautiful tapestry.

 

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
